Where: Taungatara Forest SH25 between Whangamata and Hikuai.
District: Hauraki Gulf

Taungatara Forest is 10 minutes north of Whangamata on SH 25 or follow arrows from eastern side of Kopu-Hikuai road.

Classes: - There are 15 classes in total to cater for everyone including 2 x Intro Trail rider classes (non-championship). For more information and preregistering see
Terrain: Mostly clear felled and virgin clay and ash based forestry tracks with expert loops for the ‘big boys and girls”. The National and Regional riders will be doing 3 loops of just under 50km and comprising of 5 terrain tests. The Intro Trail riders will be doing 2 shorter loops with two terrain tests (not timed).

Championship: National, North Island series

All riders competing for National Championship points must have a current MNZ Championship License on the day of the event, otherwise they will not be awarded points in the event or towards the overall Championship from the event. Riders with Club licenses or Day licenses can compete on the day of the event but their results will not be counted on the day or towards the series.

M.N.Z licence required.
