Signposted from the Matata Straights between Te Puke and Whakatane at Mimiha Road. Only 4 km up Mimiha road to the end of the road.

Terrain: Some great riding. In fact you get something of everything including farmland, bush, pines, rocks rivers and fantastic pumice tracks.

GNCC 1 at Burts Farm Matata has been postponed till Sunday 16th (this Sunday)
The forecast for Friday night and Saturday morning is rain and because the ground is already saturated with water, any more will make it terrible.
Saturday afternoon, evening and all of Sunday is forecast for Fine weather.
SO GNCC 1 and the NZXC is now on Sunday 16th October (this Sunday)
Tracks have been graded and will be in perfect condition for Sunday.
Junior Race Starts at 9:30 and Senior race starts at 12 Midday.

Back to Matata for Round One of the Series. Juniors 1 hr - Seniors 2 1/2 Hrs

We will again be having the Junior and Rookie Ladies race at 0930 AM (Briefing at 0090 am sharp)with the Senior Race starting sharp at 12 Noon so Seniors you need to be signed on and ready to go by 1130 riders briefing as there won't be time to gear up after the briefing.

You must sign the riders briefing form after briefing so be prepared. No signature no start and the minutes will be ticking away because your start time won't change if you haven't signed and are late. You will get an additional briefing then be sent on your way.

Entry on the Day so rock up with your bike, safety gear, spare gas and a good attitude. No Competition Licence or club membership needed and we will supply you with race numbers if you don't have your own. Email us to secure your race number. First in first served so No 81 for both Seniors and Juniors has gone.

Grid Starts with computer timing so you get the full ract time. - about 6 riders per grid. Safe and better for all. Experts away first.
