CAS Honda rider, Josh Coppins, has rewarded his team with a double victory at the second round of the Maxxis British MX championship in Lyng, Norfolk. The New Zealander controlled both open class races, winning by ten and eighteen seconds respectively.
“I was pumped with winning the first heat from start to finish. I got the hole-shot and never looked back. The second heat was more of a challenge as the track was much rougher and I had to work my way to the front,” explained Coppins.
“The organisers put on a great event today and they put a lot of effort into the track as well.”
Coppins now leads the championship by four points and will be looking to increase his advantage at the next round at Waggadon Farm, Torrington in May. Until then “Lizard” will be focussing on the two upcoming Grand Prix\'s in the Netherlands and Germany before crossing the channel once again.
