Terrain:

All conditions, Come and ride terrain varying from rocky tracks to open grassland, bush, gentle slopes to challenging hill climbs.

Enjoy the scenery, with spectacular views of bush, farmland, and big country!

Pre Registration and payment needed.

Cost $85-$100 YTBC, good refund policy.

This is limited to 35 bikes, Pre-registered, no showing up on the day un-announced.

Follow the leader style ride where we cruise through 35 farms in the Pongaroa District.

We will use the “corner man” system to indicate less than obvious turns to avoid misplaced riders.

Lunch and snacks provided.

Riding 8am to 6pm

Bikes must be fitted with suitable mufflers.

Safety Gear: Helmets, long trousers, long sleeved tops and leather boots that cover the ankle are compulsory. (Gloves, goggles, knee pads, and body armour are strongly recommended).

Accommodation: There is no accommodation or camping provided

Not suitable for less than 18 year olds, Quads, and less than experienced riders -as riding is going to be long and testing.

Designed for Enduro Bikes and MX Bikes in mind- not farm or trials bikes

Support vehicles will be used to carry spares and petrol.

Target is 150- 160 kms

This is a charity fund raiser for the Manawatu Rescue Chopper

Fire Extinguishers have become compulsory for each rider/bike (None shared).

Prevention is better than cure -Don’t let any poor decision making of bike maintenance ruin more than just your own event.
