Shaun Harris arrived in Northern Ireland a few weeks ago to get himself acclimatized to our wonderful weather for the build up to the North West 200
The man from Hawera, New Zealand is no stranger to the shores of Northern Ireland.
He has raced at the Ulster Grand Prix and the North West 200 a few years back.
He has a super track record back in his New Zealand:-
1990/91 NZ250 Championship Winner
1998/1999 NZ Supersport 600 Championship Runner-up
1999/2000 NZ Supersport 600 Runner-up
1999/2000 Sports Production 600 Winner
He also holds the 750 Production lap Record at the TT.
Back in 1995 he had a 7th at the Ulster Grand Prix in the 250cc Class and in 1997 a good 4th, also in the 250cc Class.
He will be riding a R1 and a R6 for the P.J. O\'Kane Racing Team at the North West this year and is hoping for some good finishes.
The red headed 37 year old is quite a character and should bring even more colour to the Triangle this year.
