Wednesday evenings practice has been cancelled due to bad weather but the Flying Kiwis race team are already making an impression. Fastest so far is young Craig Shirriffs with a time of 108.34. He is closely followed by John Hepburn on 108.15 and Steve Bridge on 107.55. Brent Curtis has had a fall and badly damaged his bike but other then being too sore to ride he is OK.
Not so lucky was another kiwi, Shaun Harris, who is now out of this years event due to a suspected broken arm.

On a more sobering note, the Isle of Man TT is living up to its reputation with two deaths so far this year. Bernadette Bosman from the Netherlands parted company from her sidecar perch and was killed instantly and, during Tuesday evenings practice session, Simon Beck fell from his F1 honda and was killed.
