In a very memorable round at Donnington New Zealander Aaron Slight scored a very deserved second place in the first race before going down early in the second race after a touch from Edwards. The series standings now see Carl Fogarty with a 23 point lead over Troy Corser with Colin Edwards moving into third ahead of Aaron Slight after giving Honda their first win of the year in the second race.
