Josh “Lizzard” Coppins has returned from Wakes Colne in the UK with yet another double win at the fourth round of the Maxiss British Motocross Championship.
The CAS Honda hero powered his way to two impressive victories. The first race of the day sore the kiwi having to work a little to gain the lead but it is was not long before Coppins gained control of the race and ran away with the win. The second heat was executed with perfection from start to finish. Coppins grabbed the hole-shot and never looked back. By the time the chequered flag was waved, “Lizzard” had built up a lead of just less than half a minute.
“It’s been a good day’s work. I’m feeling really comfortable on the bike and every week we seem to be finding better settings. This should give me a little boost for the GP of Neeroeteren next week in Belgium. I want keep up the consistency but I wouldn’t mind another win though!” said Coppins.
