Round 4 - Suzuki National Enduro Champs:

An update on the 4th round of the Suzuki National Enduro Champs to be held this weekend, 30th of May at Pinedale, 3 kms south of Putaururu.

The event will be 2 and half loops of a 50 km circuit with 4 special tests including a MX test.
All the classes are still wide open with three rounds yet to go in the Championship.

In the expert 400 class, Mark Whyte and Cam Smith are close with Smith taking the last two rounds and it\'s the same in the small four stroke class with Steven Bird having a slender lead over Sean Clarke.

Chris Birch has dominated the last two rounds in the open two stroke class, but with a poor result in Round 1 at Oparau he still trails Dene Humphrey by a few points.

Another battle looming in this class is between the two teenagers, Mitchell Neild and Karl Power - however with Birch in good form and Humphrey ever consistent, the battle for 3rd place in the championship is between those two, which is really good to see.

In the expert 35+ vets class, Mark Fuller has cleaned up the last two rounds, but he missed the first round so Terry Cameron leads this class from Gary Powell.

The same goes in the Expert 0-200 class with Kevin Hermasen taking two wins from two rounds, but he missed the Riverhead enduro, so Todd Mardon leads this class.

All the classes are decided from the best four results from six rounds so most of the classes won\'t be decided until the last round.
