Motorcycling New Zealand and Suzuki NZ have announced that they have renewed and enhanced, their longstanding NZ Cross Country Championships partnership
The 2004 Suzuki NZ Cross Country Championship has three simultaneous rounds in the North and South Island followed by national finals in both islands during May. This year’s proceedings begin on Sunday March 7th in both Nelson and the Hawkes Bay.
Cross Country Commissioner, Lyn Youren, has added two separate ATV races to be run also in the North and South Islands during spring. \"These are new classes raced separately as the Suzuki ATV Cross Country Championship,\" said Mrs. Youren. \"The existing two wheel championships stays the same, this gives more riders the chance to get involved.\"
In announcing the new arrangements, Trevor Gill, CEO of MNZ said, \"I think almost any national or regional sports administrator, regardless of the sport, will confirm that the longer a sponsorship partnership goes the better it gets\"
