Pitt Gets A MotoGP Ride:

I have not seen this report garnered off MA\'s newsletter:

Pitt to stay in MotoGP

Australia’s 2001 world Supersport champion Andrew Pitt has been down in the dumps of late – he lost his job with Kawasaki in MotoGP and nobody loves him. Well, I’m not so sure about the second one, but things are now looking up in the vocation stakes with news that Mamoru-san – of Moriwaki Engineering fame - has given the 27-year-old a MotoGP lifeline in the form of a ride on his Honda RC211V-powered MD211V machine. That’s way too much of a mouthful – let’s settle for Honda-powered Moriwaki.
Anyway, Mr Pitt has only been guaranteed about five wildcard rides in 2004, on top of an extensive testing program, with the expectation that the MD211V will soon be a permanent feature on the grid – there’s another ride for Barros to aim for. Go to - MA.Org.Au: for the news story, and details on Mamoru’s long-standing affinity with antipodean riders.

Pity that you won\'t see any of that on Sky............
