Shell Helix Motorsport is back and it’s another week already with some of the very best in Motorsport from New Zealand.
4.00pm – Mike Pero Motorsport Series – Formula Ford Round 3 – Timaru.
Last week the New Zealand V8’s got things under way and today it’s the turn of the great close racing you see in only in Formula Ford. Timaru was also the first time that we see the three traveling Americans in action as the complete in Timaru and Teretonga rounds. Timaru was also a chance for the teams to set themselves up for the Grand Prix meeting at Teretonga.
4.30pm – Motorcycling – Wanganui Street race.
The now well-known Boxing Day meeting. The streets of Wanganui on a Motorbike flat out, many have tried it and only the best win there. It’s hard and fast, very fast. The best for the Boxing Day street race.
5.30pm – Mike Pero Motorsport Series – Porsche Trans Tasman GT 3 Cup – Round 2 – Timaru.
The first round was the big Supercar meeting back in November but now these guys race nearly every week as part of the Summer Motorsport series. Big Names, big stars and expensive cars. Only Carrera Cup can produce this type of racing and now it’s here around New Zealand this summer. Highlights from the second round at Timaru round out the show today.
