Andrew Stroud and Ray Clee travelled to the Levels race track (Timaru) where the Motorcycle Trader and News sponsored Group One Series was staged last weekend with a combined car/bike/truck meeting. They were sitting on equal points in the Suzuki NZ Production Superbike Series but left with Stroud having the most succesful outing of the two with 3 wins from the 3 starts. The 2nd and 3rd placings in each of the three races were taken by Clee and Brian Bernard respectively.
Although Jared Love\'s (Hamilton) result of one race is still under protest, Shaun Harris (New Plymouth) riding his Honda CBR 600 made the sponsors of the 600cc Sports Production Series, Blue Wing Honda, chuffed with three wins. Harris who along with the other Kiwi, Bruce Anstey of the two Kiwis who did New Zealand proud last June at the IoM, dominated at Levels with his three wins from the three starts.
