Yanks get into it:

Virgin motarder, Scotty Wilkins sent me this link today showing the Yanks
Kevin Schwantz, (1993 500GP World Champion), Jeff Ward (winner of 7 AMA
supercross and motocross titles), Jeremy McGrath (winningest Supercross
rider in history). Plus, Mike Metzger (the Godfather of freestyle MX, X Games gold
medalist), and Mr. Daytona, Scott Russell are getting into it as well.
The Yanks are running a series this year with the last round being the
National Championship. This will be run in Las Vagas in November.
Closer to home.
In Auckland, at the Mt Wellington Kart track this Sunday.

Brent Symes sent me this info about some Motarding happening this weekend.
The Pacific Motorcycle Club is having the first of it\'s 2003 Taupo series
meetings this Sunday. It is a 3 meeting series 13th April, 15th June and
10th August. The bonus for Supermotards is that you can enter as many
classes as you want for the entry fee of $60, classes are F1, F2, F3, 125GP,
Clubmans, Classics and the main class Supermotards.
Should be a good turn
out of Motards with most in Supermotard and F3 (and keen motards can
be very competitive in F2 on the tight Taupo track!).
Timetable:
Check in and machine examination from 8am.
Briefing and practice - 10am.
Racing starts 12 noon. 3 races per class.
Enter on the day $60.
