Hi.
I finally got my own computer back. I`ve been on severely reduced power, used to a 250 and have been riding a 65 so to speak.
Tim and Mason have been having only an average run.
The 1st night Tim and Mason failed to qualify. Mason had an engine fault, an inconsistent engine response which made jumping very tricky. Later the team stripped the 250 and found a faulty crank seal which was making Mason`s engine erratic.
In the second event Tim crashed over a triple in practice and got hit by the bike and hurt his shoulder and the team withdrew him as he was very sore. The team borrowed a bike for Mason and he dropped it in the early race laps and was lapped, but with the confidence of the strong engine showed he had the speed to stay with the leaders for the final laps.
Next event is in 2 weeks so they have several practice sessions to get used to the German style of tracks. Very grippy soil, like play dough and short high jumps, they reckon they could change the light bulbs in the stadium as they fly past and the whoops are like mountains.
