Misfortune at Kawasaki Good Times Scrambles

Posted: Tue 22 Sep 1998

The Kawasaki Good Time Scramble at Huntly was marred by the injury of Colin Slater of the Huntly MCC. He was taken by air ambulance to hospital. As soon as we have some official word of his condition we will let you know.

Apart from this the event was a great success with full classes. Apparently the major event had 55 on the start line. Scott Newton has written in to tell us about his day - using a borrowed 1998 RM125 he managed a Silver Medal in the junior 125 class. He described it as \"a really good days racing on a really good track.\"

Sounds like the next round at Kawarau this coming weekend is the place to be. In the meantime we would love to hear from anyone else. Tell us about your experiences and impressions.
