Superbikes Race 2 Valencia. Bayliss, Haga, Edwards

Bayliss on his Infostrada Ducati got a perfect start to the 2001 season, taking both wins. Haga brought his Aprilia into 2nd place again, this time followed by Edwards Castrol Honda – this year running as a one man effort, and Bostrom took forth place.

It\'s good to see the boys are back and the return of Haga is great from my point of view. He is a favourite of mine, and with a riding style similar to Ben Bostrom, we can expect to see plenty of rubber left in the corners.

The field this year appears to lack a certain ammount of depth, and team Castrol Honda are taking a big gamble in running only one bike - we all know how quickly a fall can end a career in this sport. But there is exciting racing to come. Bring it on
