New Zealand’s Superbike Champion, Kawerau’s Tony Rees will be contesting round two of the Production Superbike class of the Australian Road Race Championship this weekend, at Winton Victoria, just south of the NSW border.
Rees will ride his Bikebiz Yamaha R1, on which in the changeable weather of round one at Barbagallo Raceway in Wanneroo WA, he had finished 1st, 5th and had a DNF. He hopes to improve on his 5th overall placing this weekend.
“ We have had more time with the R1 and I feel we can do better this weekend, with or without the weather,” said Rees before leaving New Zealand
