It appears to be all over for Bimota, there is little chance that Bimota will survive their financial woes.
The only potential buyer, the Bimota USA importer MotoPoint has been in talks for the last few days, but the huge debts of Bimota are the sticking point Both Aprilia and Cagiva have given the deal a miss when they found out the size of the problem.
It is unlikely that MotoPoint could find the asking price unless some or all of the debts were written off .
If Bimota is not sold as a going concern all its assets will be sold, meaning the BIMOTA name and Badge may be sold as a separate entity. That could result is a buyer that may give the brandname a new lease of life
