"I have taken the best bits of traditional Scott Trial, Crosscountry and mixed them to make the 'K.T.M.' See you there!" - Dougy Herbert

A challenge for any bike you care to bring. Gold, Silver and Bronze lines

.

Race will be ( highly likely ) 3 laps for each class ( gold silver bronze ) If the clerk of course has his calculations correct, lap times across the 3 classes will be similar.

Each lap will include riding the matrix ( trials section ) and the total lap time will include both the XC loop and matrix time to ride.

The XC loop has multiple bronze silver gold splits.

Winner of race ( per class ) will receive a bag of lollies.

Back to the qualification hour, this result will only determine your start time of the main event. No penalties will be carried forward to the main race. Fastest qualification time, means you start first. Slowest means you start last. The other benefit of the qualification round, is that you get to practice the matrix for the main event. Minimum 1 lap qualification. Max 2 laps qualification.

The matrix has no traffic lights ( trials term ) but has multiple options, where the easier option will take more riding time. It is up to the rider to choose their own personal matrix line !

During the main event ( normal trials you are only allowed one rider in the section at a time ) for K.T.M. if you can find an ' observer' to follow you, you can enter the matrix. ie. Simon we need multiple observers, so riders do not queue waiting for their turn plus time will be ticking against their lap time while they wait.

We are pre riding the track this weekend, to get approximate lap times for each class. If my calculations are out, then I may drop back to two laps or up to four laps for the main event. I dont want the main event to go over two hours.

Parking will be down by the old rotary cowshed, beside the matrix.

Kitchen, shower and toilet facilities are an easy walk up the hill to the new rotary cowshed.

BBQ supplied after the event, around 230pm.
