An awesome ride through some of the best scenery on a motor cyclist’s dream road, The Forgotten Highway SH 43. Lunch at the iconic Whangamomona Village, NZ's only republic. Come and join us on Saturday night at Spud’s Schnapps Bar in National Park.

"Chateau to Plateau" - Sunday January 21st 2019 is the eleventh year of this iconic event, offering a unique variety of brilliant roads, from the Chateau on Mt Ruapehu to The Plateau on Mt Taranaki via the Forgotten World Highway SH 43 - 150km of hills and tight corners with a lunch stop at historic Whangamomona.

What could be better than taking the weekend off riding to the central North Island on the Saturday, ride 260km through beautiful countryside on the Sunday and a relaxed ride home on Monday.

Saturday evening; turn up at the Schnapps Bar in National Park and share a drink and a bar meal with other riders from all parts of NZ, at Spuds place.

We wrap up a fantastic ride at the Stratford War Memorial Centre with drinks, food and prize giving.
